Heading to Town.

Arkarian walked through the town of District 11, with Specter by his side. The 'agricultural district', they called them. And with good reason too, if it weren't for District 11 then the Capitol wouldn't have the bulk of all their food supply. Arkarian smirked at the thought of what would happen if District 11 just defected from the Capitol and stopped sending them stuff. But he knew it would never happen, so he just sighed and kept on walking.

I walked out of my house. I closed the door behind me and walked all the way to town. Great another stupid list i thought in my head. I scanned the list then suddenly i bumped into someone infront of me. I looked up as my paper flew out of my hand and landed on the floor. I bent down to pick up my paper.

Arkarian turned around when he felt someone bump into him. He saw that she had dropped something and that Specter had been spooked and ran off somewhere. 'He'll be back soon..' He thought and bent down to pick up the girl's paper. "Sorry about that, probably shouldn't have been standing there in your way." He said to the girl even though she was probably distracted and had bumped into him.

BIC:I took the paper. "Um sorry about that it wasnt your fault" i stammered. "Um i'm Daila Korokes and you are?" i asked the boy shyly.

"Arkarian Lost." He said to her smiling a bit as well. He wasn't normally one to start up conversations with people so he was starting to feel a bit awkward standing there. He figured that she would just walk away.

"Nice to meet you" i smiled slightly. "How old are you?" i asked curiously. He might figure im stupid i thought to myself.

"16. And you?" He asked her wondering why she was asking how old he was. Then again he just met Daila and District 11 is a massive area so he shouldn't be surprised that she was wondering how old he was.

Arkarian nodded slightly for no real reason at all. Suddenly a black and white object shot out of an ally and ran up Arkarian. The cat rested around Arkarian's shoulders and he smiled at the cat. "Hey, Specter." He said petting the cat and listening as he purred.

"Oh you have a cat cool..." i managed to say. "Um i have a parrot named Musa" i said stupidly.

"That's pretty cool." Arkarian said to her with a smile. "Would you like to pet him. Specter won't bite." He said and then gave the cat a sideways glare that said, 'You scratch or bite her. And you can starve for tonight.'

"Um sure" i take a small step towards Arkarian. I pet the cat on the head and scratch it under its chin like mother used to teach me.

Arkarian smiled as Specter purred from being petted. "So, what were you in such a rush about anyway?" He asked her as she petted his cat.

"Well i have chores to do and i have to do erands for my mom" i said to Arkarian. "And i need to get my bird some more food its been squaking all morning"

"Well I don'thave anything to do, so I can help you if you want." He offered. He wasn't exactly sure why, but he knew that he just wanted to hang out with Daila. Even if it meant helping her get some chores done, and run some erands.

Arkarian took the list and stared at the words written on the sheet of paper.
'Get more food for Musa
Get some more soil
Head to the bakery and pick up some bread..'
Arkarian shruged at the jobs and then looked up at Daila and said, "We can get some bird food first. I need to grab some food for this guy anyway." He pointed up to Specter who pured at the thought of something to eat.

Arkarian smiled and then turned and lead Daila off to the market area. Once they got there he walked over to the pet store and opened it bowing to Daila like she was some royal princess. "After you." He said to her jokingly.

Arkarian smiled as she laughed and walked in behind her. Quickly he found the cat food and picked up a large sized bag of it. He walked back over to Daila and waited for her.

I went to the bird section picked up a medium sized (since Musa is still small and doesnt eat much) and walked over to Arkarian.

"Got what you needed?" He asked her making sure that she had what she came for before he payed for the stuff and left.
