The Bakery

Bryn walked in with Katniss. Coins making noise in her pocket. "Hello?" She asked, loudly, no one seemed to be in the front.

I walk in from the back smiling. " what do you need." i say friendly.

Bryn looked at Katniss. She pulled out about ten coins. If she was lucky it would be enough. She held them out to Peeta. "What will this get me in bread?"

I look at katniss, at first my eyes look crazed as the tracker jacker poison tries to take control but it quickly fades. I look down at the coins but notice she is a little short, i still pull out some bread and say " five coins will be enough." i hate to take from the poor and this girl is with Katniss.

Bryn sighed. "Are you sure? I could give you all ten.." She said smiling. She saw his look at Katniss. She wondered if the price would be different if she came alone.

" its good, five will be enough." I look back checking on the bread and pull some out. " here i will give you this fresh bread." i hold out the hot bread.

Bryn took the bread shocked. She wasn't sure if Katniss was going to go with her to do her other nessacery things. She figured she might want to stay with Peeta.

I get back to making bread, wondering who this new girl is, if she is with katniss she has to have something special.

Bryn laughed. "Do you always have to make bread." Truthfully, Bryn has never met him, she's seen him around town. But, not in the bakery. Bryn had bought bread from his mother and father before.

" its what i do, i could paint a cake if you want, i'm not some survivor like katniss, she is the one killing animals and shooting a bow." i smile slightly, everyone doesn't expect me to be just a plain baker.

Bryn shrugged. She didn't want to give away her secret. "Where does she go to kill animals?" She asked Peeta. Katniss didn't say anything about that.

" thats her own little secret, no good telling you, i know their are other hunters out there."

Guest

Bryn clued into what he was talking about. "She goes into the woods?" That explained how Bryn would see her walking with dead animals.

" don't tell anybody."

Guest

Bryn shook her head. "Katniss would kill me." I said motioning to her. She seemed a bit spaced out. "I can't believe I haven't seen her!" She said in disbelief.

" she usually doesn't scream that she goes there."

Guest

Bryn shrugged. "I'm there a lot. I usually sit in the trees. Do you go?"

Guest

" not usually, if anyone saw my first hunger games i wasn't so stealthy."

Guest

Bryn shrugged, she felt so clueless today. "Sorry, I didn't see most of it. I don't enjoy the death games."

" you were lucky, i wish i didn't have to see it either."

Guest

Bryn laughed. "I might volunteer. You will have to see it the rest of your life. Your a mentor." She said, using some knowledge she learned from Katniss.

I look serious " never volunteer, its not worth it."

Guest

"I have my own reasons. I have a family to feed. If I die, I'm not missing much."

Guest

" just listen, if you volunteer..... only volunteer if someone you can't bear to lose goes, thats the only good reason to volunteer."

"Thats why i volunteered but in the end Prim died" i said when Peeta had finished his sentence.
