I go to the counter to get a table.

"What?" I ask.

"I miss Trixxi, that's all."

"Me too," I respond.

"I've always hated my birthday."

"Just because of the reaping, but if you ever got reaped I would volunteer for any boy just to go with you," i say.

I smiled

"Oh look table is ready," I pull out Jen's chair and make a sign for her to sit down first.

I sit down. "Thanks."

"Your welcome," I say. I sit down.

"I wonder what her parents are doing..."

Guest

"I don't know," I respond.

Guest

"Probably crying, or I don't know trying to function, go about their day..."

Guest

"Trying to ignore it," I add.

Guest

"And just pretend she's hanging out somewhere..."

The waiter hands us menus. "It's almost lunch. What do you want?" I ask.

"Nothing. I'm sad, I don't eat when I'm sad."

Guest

"Well OK," I say to Jen. " I'll just have some water for now," I say to the waiter.

"Need water?" I ask.

"Nope."
