"oh." i smile awkwardly. "i'd like to meet him sometime."

"oh, that's nice. he's probably met katniss and peeta, huh?" i peer down at her feet as well. "anything interesting down there?"

"this is really boring. wanna go to the square?"

i sit on the floor. "okaaaaay, fine. i'll just sit here and watch you. and talk."

bic: i watch sailor. "i wanna tryyyy!"

"alright. but is there any more rope around here?"

i get up and do a backbend to stretch. i stand back up and grab some rope, tying a few different knots before climbing a tree. i wrapped after finding a good limb to sit on, i wrap the rope around my waist and the tree and tied it together. "There." i smiled at my work.

i smile. "i guess so. i'm not really a career or anything, but i just come here when i'm bored. no dedication or nothin'.."

"i mean, even if i did become a career, and i happened to be reaped, my chances of winning would still be low. and i would never volunteer, either."

"a pact?" i smile. "that's nice, you two really care for each other, huh?" i twirl one of my ringlets with my thumb and forefinger. "i don't think anyone cares for me enough to make a pact." i start chewing on the thumbnail on my other hand.

"sure."

"umm. alright." i sit down next to her, on the cold ground. "details, all of 'em." i look sailor in the eye.
